DESCRIPTION

This sunflower has huge black flowers on slender green stems, unlike the other yellow sunflowers we often see.

USDA Hardiness Zone: 2–11.

Soil. Place the plant in loam soil in direct sunlight. Black Sunflowers are easy to grow and perfect for pollinator and wildlife gardens.

Pollinators-Friendly. Plant it and you will see beneficial pollinators, such as butterflies and bees roll happily around the beautiful giant blooms.

Sow. Plant seeds about 1 to 2 inches deep in a shallow trench spaced about 6 inches apart. Keep them lightly moist but not soggy until they sprout, which takes around 7 to15 days.

Use. These giant beautiful blcak flowers with long, slender stems are perfect for decoration and are great for cutting to make excellent cut flowers or bouquets.
