Like all wildflowers, Save The Monarchs Seed Collection is tolerant to drought, heat, and poor soils and capable of thriving in many difficult gardens across the country. The 13 varieties in the Save The Monarchs Collection actually benefit from being sown in the fall so they may experience a hard winter freezing before germinating in the spring. This process of cold-stratification is proven to help many seeds perform best in the spring, as it replicates the earth's natural cycles.

Growing Instructions
Full sun.
Growing Zones 1-10
This mix contains seeds of different sizes. It is recommended to blend the wildflower mix with sand to ensure an even distribution of seed.
Prepare grow area and till soil.
Broadcast seed mix by hand or with a mechanical seeder. Do not bury seeds. Cover lightly with soil. 3 oz should cover about 1100 square feet.
Check daily and keep soil moist. Do not overwater.
Germination for the 13 varieties occurs between 20 - 30 days.
